Janet Baseman is NWCPHP faculty and the Principal Investigator of the CDC-funded PERRCoLATE project. She is a member of the NWCPHP research team and develops trainings to improve the epidemiological knowledge and skills of front line public health workers.
Janet is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Health Services at the University of Washington School of Public Health, where she serves as Associate Dean for Public Health Practice. She also works as an epidemiologist with the University of Washington Center for Public Health Informatics and the Kitsap Public Health District.
She received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas Houston and her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington.
