Funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, it is one of ten regional Public Health Training Centers and serves Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
Key program activities include assessing regional training needs with local and national partners, coordinating training development throughout the Northwest, and supporting student projects in public health organizations.
The Northwest Public Health Training Center is part of the Public Health Learning Network, the nation's most comprehensive system of public health educators, experts, and thought leaders. Together we are advancing public health practice by developing high-quality training and sharing best practices to ensure health professionals have the right skills to respond to the nation's ever-evolving health needs.
