Sharon Bogan, MPH
Public Health Management Certificate Faculty

Sharon Bogan leads the health communications courses for NWCPHP's Public Health Management Certificate..She has extensive experience identifying ways that new technologies can fill health communication gaps. Her research highlights the ways these new technologies can be implemented in real-world, local public health settings. 

Sharon currently works as a Policy and Communications Specialist at Public Health – Seattle & King County. There, she manages a five-year, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention mobile health grant. She is also an Affiliate Instructor in the School of Public Health at the University of Washington, where she teaches health communications and community development courses for public health students and public health professionals.

Sharon holds a Master's in Public Health from the University of Washington in Community-Oriented Public Health Practice and a Certificate in International Health.
